Those look great! I'd wear the pants IN the booties, as in #4. They still scrunch. You're right that you can't really stretch the pant leg opening around the top of the bootie if it won't fit. They have to go in. My booties are slim on the ankle so the hems of my cigarette trousers fold over easily, stay there, and don't stretch out in an odd shape. </p> <p>That said, I like #4 a lot! Your pants look more like skinny jeans, rather than tapered trousers. And here are the very sad scrunchy results! The opening of my pants hem must be very small because I can't get them to fit over the top of the booties. In #1-3 I tried to jam them over the top of the bootie, but in #4-6 I didn't even try since the bootie opening is so wide. Argh! Do I need to give up on this idea? Get different pants with a larger opening at the hem? Get different booties? </p> <p>#1-3 - with cognac Trotters (that I'm still debating on K/R)<br /> #4-6 - with suede Report Marks<br /> #7 - pants scrunching nicely with flats (FYI: the pants have to be tailored/taken in) </p>
