I expected the shorter length not to work but it does. I suspect this is to do with proportion and the shorter length seems to balance the outfit really well. I did not find one in the store so I went to my closet. I wore this sweater today to the mechanics (don't ask I have had this jones new york sweater since 2005 it is 100% cotton and is a simple cable knit. I have a black one just like it. I think this is enough chunk to participate in the trend. I love my color so I had to get a vivid piece in with this infinity scarf from Zara. The jeans are old navy trouser jeans. What do you think? </p>
