Killer Festive all round.&nbsp;</p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/christmas-red#post-1594240 Fri, 18 Dec 2015 01:56:22 +0000 Beth Ann 1594240@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>It's true. &nbsp;The simplest way to say "Holiday," outside of the "Ugly" Christmas sweater, is to wear red. &nbsp;I've pulled the shade out of my closet several times this week:</p> <p>1-3: &nbsp;Worn to volunteer for a Holiday event for people with early-stage dementia. &nbsp;Some of you know that my white bootcuts died an ignoble death. &nbsp;So, I repeated the look I wore to my daughter's concert and created a "black suit" effect. &nbsp;Closeups on the jewels!</p> <p>4-5: &nbsp;Worn to teach from home. &nbsp;I wasn't happy with my first combination, and I was running out of time, so, yes, I did mix dots and houndstooth. &nbsp;I love the look of these trousers, but after fewer than 10 wears the print is already wearing off on the knees and bum. &nbsp;The ponte is nice and thick, and holds it shape well, but the trousers are not yarn dyed. &nbsp;</p> <p>6-8: &nbsp;Worn to church &nbsp;Again, I tried several combinations, but time was ticking, so this classic look, with some added tinsel, saved the day. &nbsp;I am indeed wearing 5 layered necklaces and two bracelets. &nbsp;I did restrain myself with simple gold studs for earrings. &nbsp;It was 62F, so I could actually go barelegged in December. &nbsp;Time to by some sheer hose!</p>
