Mixed feelings because I don't miss traveling at this time of year, but yet it's been a whole year since we've seen family in person, and it looks like it's going to be another 8 months at minimum.&nbsp;</p> <p>Our indoor cats have never seen a real Christmas tree--we got them in 2008 and we are usually gone--so we didn't want to risk bringing a tree inside. Did you decorate too? I made buttercream frosting, then colored it for the gingerbread and put orange juice/peel in it for the cardamom. That made it a little runny, but it eventually set up.
