I adore amber and have every color, green, honey, rich Baltic, lemon, only missing blue. If you have a lot of that rich color, perhaps you should expand your collection. </p> <p>On a side note, real amber does not melt. Faux amber does. Real amber burns like incenses and it has a rich piney smell. It is used as incenses in many places still. That is actually one of the easiest methods of checking authenticity, you can also use solvents. Faux amber gets sticky. It doesn't really matter if its real, if you love the<br /> piece though. </p> <p>One of my favorite pieces I have is from a Russian artist and it is crystal clear and has been faceted. They are all beautiful, but my eyes are drawn to the gorgeous wire work on #2. I design and craft sterling silver wire jewelry and especially love swirls. To me, an experienced wire artisan, this design is very fresh and modern because each piece of jewelry is handmade and no two are alike.</p> <p>A word of caution: be careful wearing amber on a really hot day. A friend of mine had a favorite amber pendant melt in her glovebox!
