I too have lots of problems with finding clothes that fit, especially on top. Have you tried 00P on top? On bottom (we have similar measurements), I often wear a 0P.

Most of my interesting clothes come from Anthropologie and J. Crew. Madewell just started carrying XXSP tops, so they would be worth a try. As others pointed out, for officewear, Ann Taylor would be good. Loft also makes XXSP, but they often run big, I find. Banana Republic might work for tops for you; I find that their bottoms are cut too straight for a curvy figure.

Nordstrom has quite a few items in XXSP, so definitely check out their search engine.

Macy's carries XXSP coats. For some reason, even retailers who carry quite a bit of XXSP clothing don't often carry many coats in that size. But Macy's does. (I'm not sure why, since they don't seem to carry any other clothing in that size.)

One word of warning: You will most likely have to pay top dollar for your clothes. Most places make only a handful of clothing in the smallest sizes, so they sell out quickly. I often pay full price for my clothes.

From the info you have posted it seems your biggest challenge is to find a well fitting bra. Maybe focus on that first?
I’m puzzled by your frustration at finding clothes though. I am your size (slightly smaller hips actually) and I always seem to find too much! I am in Canada and have much less selection, at least when you consider online options. The Loft has a good selection of xxs petite tops that would be very suitable for a work environment.

If you need a 28" band, you will probably need to shop online. (Measure under your bust to find out.) But you CAN find 30" bands at SOME Nordstroms and Nordstrom Racks. One company whose name escapes me makes 26" bands. It's Polish. I wear a 28" band with a larger cup so that's a whole nuther issue. There's a store in Silicon Valley that specializes in small but pretty bras, so if you're ever in Northern California it seems like that would be a stop. . .

My impression is that high end European designer clothing is cut pretty small as well as Club Monaco. I'm assuming Theory suits don't fit you.

Oh yes, bras on sale at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack (haha, no pun intended)!

Best combo of hard-to-find bands and prices that are less outrageous than what is marketed to those who don't fit the most common sizes.

I’m 5 ft 103 lbs, shoulders 36 bust 33 hips 35 and I find Ann taylor and banana republic petites (2p) to fit the best. Some uniqlo things I think also tend to run small, so that might work. I don’t enjoy shopping in children’s because the cut just isn’t right and the styles are young. And for under wear I go to Nordstrom for the smaller band sizes.

Yes to Asian shops, if you have any. Also, I find Target children’s has a lot of wearable work things that work for a casual office.

yes to finding a tailor, and yes to on line shopping...
jcrew, ann taylor and the loft all have extensive offerings of smaller sizes on line....not as convenient as going to the mall, trying something on and buying it, but do able.
not sure what your looking to spend, or what kind of job you are looking for, but you might be able to mix some kids stuff with more "grown up" stuff for complete outfit. for example kids chino's with a "grown up" blouse could look professional with the right shoes.

I don't know how sizing is now at these stores since it seems to change all the time, but if you are in the US, you might be able to find interview suits and business wear at J. Crew (online is better for petites). Their cuts used to be narrow.
Despite its reputation for vanity sizing, Ann Taylor might work for you in the smallest size and straigtest cut (they tend to have two or more cuts).
Agree with Taylor that you can find clothes that fit in Asian stores.

Hi missb,

I feel a lot of your pain! I saw one of your other threads and except for bust and shoe size, our proportions seem similar. Have you tried shopping in juniors and petites? On the bottom, I would think you are a 2P, like me. But 0P could be an option too depending on how your curves work. (OR, you could be a regular 0 since your inseam is closer to "normal" than mine...)

Juniors' sizes are MUCH less consistent, but I can range from 3 to 5 and XS to S in those. Juniors go down to a 1 as well sometimes if that's needed.

I used to shop in the children's (sometimes boys' as well), because years ago, there really were no other options. Petites sections were very much "old lady" oriented if I can use that term--frumpy, not fashionable, nothing a young person in her 20s would wear. In high school I wore a women's size 4 shoe, virtually impossible to find even now--but back then...oh boy. I ended up a 5.5 / 6 in shoes after college.

Fortunately these days we can find very fashionable things in "extended" sizes. Happy hunting!

ETA: This all comes from a USA perspective, and if you're in another country, some differences will surely apply. Speaking of which ... Asian styles are often cut quite small, and you could try online Asian fashion shops that are very affordable.

I was wondering who else shops strictly in the children's department?
I am so tiny that every article of clothing including undergarments and shoes come from the children's department.
I am very tired of having very limited options for myself. Also when trying to look for a job, my size plays a very big part of not being able to dress properly for an interview. Clothing from the children's department is not going to get me any job ever....Help!
