I am actually on the hunt for an A line skirt in a floral print. There are a few around here but, because it's summer, they tend to be light or pastel mixes and not the black mixes you mention (which I prefer too). I am very into pattern mixing at the moment, so would definitely be willing to try it. Thanks for the comment about my arms!<br />I am trying to track down a medium of the top. My local store said they had it but it turns out that they don't. So it might take a little more detective work to find one. I love the top but am worried it will become an orphan. I could see myself wearing it with A line skirts and high waisted wide leg pants. And that's it. I do have some similar knit tops from Zara (not chevron) that I have kept for years and still wear from time to time, but they are a teeny bit looser and longer. I think that makes them more wearable, as <b>unfrumped</b> says.<br />I will see if I can track down the medium to try on. But at this stage I am thinking I will pass.<br />The skirt is more versatile, I think. <br /><b>Smittie</b>, I would definitely prefer it to be more streamlined (or to have pockets!) but I don't think the pleats are a deal breaker. I have seen&nbsp;<b>Diana</b> on the forum wearing puffier skirts, and I like the look. What I like on others does not always look or feel right on me, but I would like to give it a try. The skirt is not expensive. I think I could also wear it with bare legs and taupe knee high boots in Spring/Autumn for a lighter look.<br /><b>RobinF</b>, I am sometimes attracted to the longer length A line skirts too but I inevitably end up not wearing them or shortening them. The denim skirt in the last pic is a case in point. &nbsp;It started out being below the knee but I have found it much more wearable since having it shortened.<br /><b>Xtabay</b> and<b> Manny</b>, glad it is not just me who is chevron crazy!
