I have no idea about longevity but it is rain resistant ethically sourced 700 fill down. Packs into a little case. Similar to the Patagonia down sweater. It comes in about a million colours. As is common with these jackets it might be a tricky fit for those with very curvy hips because the zip is only one way. But there is an adjustment at the bottom of the jacket to help with that.
