Hi AJ...without reading any other responses, here are my thoughts.

I really like the deep purple shirt on you and think the color suits you well. The wedgewood blue I'm not sure about. It could be the photo, but it doesn't give your face the same flush as the purple. That's just my opinion.

I really like this boyfriend cardigan. I think it fits you well and will be very versatile.

I like the ATL cropped cardigan. The color is nice and it fits you well.

The teal sweater is amazing on you. That's your color (along with red). Definitely a keeper and I like the skinny belt with it as well.

The ivory sweater is a good basic but I think you need a better color layer under the sweater. I have this problem with ivory and need to have a good dose of my best colors around when I wear it. I think paired with a red shirt (or teal) you'll look great and it's a good basic to have.

Overall, I think you made some great purchases!

Thanks everyone! I know my "style eye" is improving because I have to return fewer purchases after checking with the forum. I've gone from mostly "nope, doesn't work" to mostly "good job" -- that feels really good! I'm glad that these sweaters work because they were all good sales and things I can get a lot of use out of.

Nice purchases! My favorite is the teal v-neck sweeter. I love how you paired it with the skinny belt. I love the boyfriend cardigan on you as well. It fits great!

These are great purchases Aj! I love them all! The purple BF cardigan is amazing and so are the V-neck sweaters. And I like both colors of the shirt on you.

aj, you did a great job in finding layering pieces - those shirts fit you really well and I like both colors. I actually like the cropped cardi and think you could find some fun colors to layer under it. Can you wear yellow? Maybe a warm yellow? And I am jealous of how good you look in that boyfriend cardi. You look really, really great in that style. I had a feeling you would look great in the right boyfriend cardi - that JJill one from the other day was just a bit too bulky in the wrong place. I agree with Kristen - those long cardis suit your figure. If I were you, I'd keep on the lookout for more pieces like that one - you wear it well!

Looks like you made out well with all of the sales! I like all of the pieces - especially the ivory sweater/blue button down and teal sweater with the belt over top. The green sweater is a wonderful colour on you.

Those are great finds AJ!

The purple shirt is showing up as being more of an ink blue on my screen, but I have a feeling the purple looks wonderful on you. I love the wedgewood blue one as well, especially paired with the ivory V-neck sweater.
I love the look of a darker shirt underneath a lighter sweater/top: it's a nice change from what we usually do and it can look very elegant.

I didn't have time to reply to your previous post about the boyfriend cardigan, but I agreed with the other ladies that the neckline and the looser fit was the problem. This one is more fitted and accentuates your figure. Love it (with this self-belt, but a leather belt is a good idea too).

Like Kristen, I'm also not completely sure about the cropped cardigan, although I don't really see anything wrong with it, so I'm not much help here;-) The colour is great on you, by the way.

The teal and ivory sweaters are keepers for sure. You always look so beautiful in a V-neck sweater with a button-down underneath, I'm jealous;-)

You did very well! I really like the boyfriend sweater and the two J Jill spring sweaters -- those last two are my favorites of the bunch. I think I like them best best they're long and so are you -- so the proportions are perfect. I'm less fond of the green because it is cropped and it cuts you off a bit. (I'm tall too so I notice proportions of lengths; I like wearing items that make me look even taller, like 3-inch heels! Stand up and be proud of our inches, I say! LOL.)

The deep purple button down is a great color on you; I'm not sure if the wedgewood blue is as flattering, but it could be the lighting instead. Even so, if you use it as a layering piece it will likely be just fine. Everyone needs a nice crisp blue shirt in their wardrobe!

Like several others, I hit the mall sales this weekend. I bought a bunch of turtleneck tops for layering. Those are all good basics so no photos -- until they show up in outfits.

I also got several items that I'd like YLF feedback on.

http://s514.photobucket.com/al.....s%2011-22/

Express button-front shirts -- I really like the two I have, so I added deep purple and wedgewood blue; I'm not sure the colors show up accurately in the photos, but I am wondering if these are good colors on me.

Another try at the boyfriend cardigan -- this time a deep purple one from Gap. It came with the satin belt but I'd probably wear it with a brown leather belt.

ATL cropped green cable sweater -- this I could wear in the spring over a button-front shirt or light weight turtlenecks.

J. Jill cotton v-neck sweaters -- teal and ivory: these are also for spring. I don't think I'd wear the ivory over the pale blue but instead over my red or the purple button-front shirt (although I don't if light sweater over dark shirt is a good look). I really need some spring sweaters so I'm interested in what you all think of these.

Thanks for your comments!
