It’s breezy on the beach where our condo is, &amp; the nights can be cool enough at times for jeans &amp; a jacket. I also need a few warm clothes (not many) for when we travel to the U.S. in the Winter. It is also hot for 6 months out of the year, so I need mostly Summer clothing.</p> <p>@Angie, I changed my mind &amp; decided to keep my pair of NYDJ faded denim slim-leg pants (shorts?) that come to just below my knee. I might need them if my husband buys a boat or we go on excursions. Below are pics of my gauchos &amp; NYDJ pants. My prayer is that you won’t say they’re not a good choice for petites. Wearing skirts is not an option due to the ocean breezes. I’m just tired of them.</p> <p>I purchased 2 pairs of wide-legged &amp; 1 pair of bootcut jeans plus 1 pair of bootcut pants, &amp; won’t be wearing cropped jeans. If it’s cool enough to wear cropped jeans, I can wear my full-length jeans instead. I’m passing over all ankle-length &amp; cropped jeans or pants. I still have 4 pairs of skinny jeans &amp; 1 pair of straight-legged jeans.</p> <p>As for dress pants, I have 2 nice pairs of straight-legged pants &amp; several pairs of wide-legged pants.</p> <p>I have a few pairs of gauchos that I love. They look like skirts, aren’t too wide in the leg, &amp; are super comfortable. They keep me cool in the summer heat.</p> <p>And 6 pairs of shorts. </p>
