I've noticed that lots of people who use an alias along with their avatar also sign their actual names in their posts, or at least are happy to respond to their actual names. I just don't want my real name to show up *every time* I post something, you know?</p> <p>Also, people seem to have difficulty spelling my name correctly. It's such a common, familiar name, and (in the English-speaking world at least) usually spelled with a "z", that it's understandable why so many people see it wrong. I think this way will be better. I am uncomfortable with the idea of posting actual photographs of myself, but more and more I see that I cannot participate properly without providing you all with visual references. You cannot give opinions about style, garments or body type if you cannot see the person. So next week, I am going to start posting pictures, in a manner of speaking. In anticipation of that, I have changed my display name, to reduce googlability.
