The tail covers the bottom but is a bit higher in front. Taylor.  I looked at the Chicos site (I know...bad word..I am not a huge fan but leave no stone unturned correct?) and didn't see anything. Have not been pleased last few years with Talbots so not even looking there.  Have several O. Navy ones and those are the 1 too big, 1 too small and now the JCrew too short...Can ck. However the one I got is tencel, not a true chambray.  I also recently saw a good selection at Target, with their new fall stuff.  Good luck...this acquisition can take a while, and I'm not sure if the one I got fits the 3 bears descriptor because it's still too hot here to wear it! Just did that a pulled up quite a few options. If they're too long, it would be simple to have them shortened to your ideal length. (you might also search for denim shirts, as the J Crew shirt you linked to looks more like what I consider a light-wash denim.) I've had pretty good luck with the length of Gap shirts (I'm 5'8-ish). Or you could try men's shirts. I like them cause I can get butt coverage, and I don't mind rolling up the sleeves or turning back the cuffs. Or maybe a western-style vendor like Sheplers? Looked on line at Loft and A. Taylor and Nordstroms but didn't see a basic button down similar to the JCrew one.   Any suggestions for this elusive wardrobe staple?
