Sometimes I wear it with a darker denim skirt, either tucked in, semi-tucked, or completely loose and untucked, depending on my mood and the temperature. I really like the way chambray shirts look layered under pullovers, but mine is a little too boxy for the sweaters I have right now (which reminds me, I want to soak them in some water and hair conditioner to see if I can stretch them slightly). I forced myself to start wearing other neutral pants (olive, brown) just to have more remixing options in my new, smaller wardrobe.</p> <p>Now that I have non-blue denim bottoms, and my mind sees blue denim as a neutral, it just clicked to wear my shirt with my colored pants. &nbsp;It was like a light bulb moment! &nbsp;I know it seems sort of obvious for some, but I totally didn't get it until just recently.&nbsp;Last week I wore it over a brown surplice tank, cardigan style - with olive pants. &nbsp;Today, I am wearing it alone with brown jeans and a sparkly statement necklace (which - it took me eons to find one that was "me"). I even like the shirt so much now, I ordered a chambray shirtdress!</p> <p>I am working really hard to remember my articulated style - casual, classic country with a bit of glam and the outfits are fitting in perfect with that idea! &nbsp;I can't believe how much I have progress in just the last few weeks of nailing down exactly the look I want to project without having to buy a lot of new pieces. &nbsp;Thanks YLF!</p> <p>So, how do you style your chambray shirts? </p>
