I think it's reflective of my mood which has been meditative, reflective and nostalgic. </p> <p><b>Alana</b> - yes this is a softer look. Honestly this is not the easiest look for me to pull off because there are so many factors to balance, color, structure, proportion, fit etc. I'll be returning to this combination and working to improve upon it. </p> <p><b>Alassë</b> - I thought the same thing too when I picked this skirt up 8 years ago at H&amp;M. Part of me can't believe it's been that long ago.</p> <p><span><b>Floradora</b> - I struggle with tucking, belting and not tucking. I have a short waist and if I'm not careful I can give the impression that my legs start under my bust Whether I tuck or not depends a lot on fit and where the tail of the shirt hits. Belting is the same. I am a big fan of playing in my closet.</span></p> <p><b>Ingunn</b> - I don't feel as fresh as I look! I do realize I feel better on the days I make the effort to get dressed. My greatest frustration is the fact it just takes longer to do everything. I love shades of blue in general. I have also realized that I tend to put in more effort to make blue work (if the color is a little off) than say a shade of red or purple.&nbsp; </p> <p><b>lyn*</b> - you can never have enough florals ;-)</p> <p><b>gardenchick</b> - I can relate to baggy whatever. Those are the days I don't post which is most days. DD has a sixth sense about these things. She wakes up just when I'm about to leave the room. </p> <p>Shannon - Thank you!!!! My body remembers that DD was born a month ago even if my image suggests something else :-D! I think it's more than a little bit of a contradiction that I love nostalgic florals and full skirts but like them contrasted with clean lines and crisp tailoring. It's a little hard to pull off for me right now given my desperate need to shop for new underpinnings (bras, shapewear etc.) and my lack of will/energy to do it ;-). So my crisp isn't as crisp as I would like it to be but I still think there's enough of a contrast in this outfit.</p> <p>Happy Thursday and thanks for looking. </p>
