Brilliant!</p> <p>Love the boots too - they bridge the combat and equestrian vibes nicely.... </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/challenge-me-day-3#post-2007283 Wed, 27 Feb 2019 11:31:15 +0000 gryffin 2007283@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Well it's wednesday, "hump" day and it would not be a "me" without an outting of the skirted leggings!!&nbsp; The Arianne corset cami I've had forever, perfect for under a blazer, esp buttoned and just peaking out, lovely jaquard, heavy not sheer and straps that cover bra straps.&nbsp; It's the mother of all fill is the gaps top and the colorway of black/charcoal/pearl goes with everything.&nbsp; The EF sweater was bought to go with the skirted leggings, very interesting change of stitching, high low, split hem, movement and I wanted to vee neck which I wear buttoned like a top so I always wear a cami underneath.&nbsp; I love the clear gray, texture and movement.&nbsp; Skirted leggings - these are very me because they solved a problem.&nbsp; I wear tunics with leggings, the world without end.&nbsp; Many are too short, above 33" but were nice and since a nice tunic is hard to find....what to do....&nbsp; I looked at skirts to put over leggings but they get heavy, shift, and are fussy.&nbsp; During the skirt hunt I stumbled onto the EF skirted leggings.&nbsp; The skirt is exactly the 33" from shoulder to hem, so it made up the distance on a shorter tunic and opened up shorter tops to layer under jackets giving me a new silhouette and variety.&nbsp; They are me because they are functional, just my style, comfortable and versatile.&nbsp; I have 3 back up and will probably add more as the two in rotation begin to show wear.&nbsp; Over this I'm wearing the Everlane gray herringbone oversized blazer.&nbsp; This is my version of pattern mixing - subtle but interesting with texture thrown in - literally shades of gray.&nbsp; Lastly my ariat heritage lacers which I'm sure everyone is sick of hearing about.&nbsp; I used to ride hunters.&nbsp; I love paddock boots.&nbsp; These are fine pebbled leather.&nbsp; ABS insole but still acommodates an orthotic, the laces are super long so they can be tucked or wrapped twice and knotted and both look good.&nbsp; There's an equestrian but also a combat vibe, they last forever and I could marathon in them.&nbsp; This very light thin layering is a favorite technique.&nbsp; It's expremely difficult to find the right pieces so that's another reason this is very me! </p>
