I think we all look so 50s retro in our glasses. When I read your post, I was stuck in eclipse traffic, acutely aware that we were missing our flight home, and not 100% certain we'd made the right choice. We were lucky to catch the 8:00 flight, as it was the last one out. But now we all have seven years to plan for the next one!  Joy, I love that necklace--great for anytime, but especially for the eclipse. Looks like a cute outfit.  Thistle,  oh noooooo Rachylou,  one of the programs I listened to yesterday, while driving, said that things turn red during a lunar eclipse. I didn't wear anything noteworthy, but I will say I was sporting lots of sunscreen except for one spot I must have missed!! I think it was 97% and there was only the tiniest sliver of sun I posted on Another thread what j wore. The photo below is of my sun pendant. I wore a yellow tee with black silk joggers and a linen jacket that reminded me of the eclipse. It is DH's birthday too. ETA: finds for what I wore. It turns out, we could have brought ours, because we made it home before theatre rehearsal started but if there had been one accident, if the spot we found had been any further from the highway, or even if we'd left for home fifteen minutes later, we wouldn't have. I used the one from a (Polish?) website for this post because I think it illustrates "eclipse" better than the shirt in the finds, which is what I plan to have on that day, with a thin grey/black/blue cardigan that I think looks like darkening skies. All I can think of at the moment is a bracelet I have, wrist circlet with a moon and one end and a star at the other. I virtually never wear jewelry aside from earrings but with this reminder, the eclipse is definitely a day for that bracelet. We could've driven a similar distance (or slightly less) to see it but I don't like to drive, and my son probably would have had to miss school on Tues. Looking at web pages for all the events in the general area where we will be, I see that most of them say they'll have the glasses on hand, so I'm relying on that.
