Further detective work: the Gentle Buffing Cream is listed at just under $30US on amazon.com. You might have been looking at a sample size or a trial size ...?

That's odd. I'm Canadian too - and have bought Caudalie products off and on over the years and always from Sephora. $15 seems bizarrely inexpensive for any product in this line. $42 doesn't surprise me at all, and although it might seem pricey, that's not at all in the world of better skincare lines. If you buy regularly from Sephora you end up getting a good % of it back in free products through their Beauty Insider points program (not that I'd know anything about that, lol).

Caudalie products are cheaper in the US, and cheaper on Amazon, I guess.

I'm confused. When Angie first mentioned her switch to Caudalie products, I took a look and decided I didn't want to change my cheapie regime (such that it is) for something more expensive.

Fast forward to gift sets at Sephora (which I love for trying new things). I bought a Caudalie grape water (I had no idea what this was and if I did I doubt I'd have bought it but it's nice) with a little moisturizing sorbet sample.

I went back to the original post and found that the gentle buffing cream was $15 so I went to the Caudalie shop in my local mall (Canada) and found that the same stuff was $42! I looked that the moisturizers and they were all in the $40+ range. What am I missing?
