Angie, you are always so kind and lovely! I was kind of burned out on suits but I LOVE my new tweed suit! Turns out the moto styling of the jacket is key to making it feel fresh for me. And yes, Suz! I will definitely be teaming it with my new denim crops this weekend! Smittie, I don't have much of a problem with my pumps slipping off, although now that you mention it the Kate Spade green pumps in #8 slip off a bit if I'm rushing around. I wear all kinds of brands. I have had good luck with Jessica Simpson, Seychelles (which I love), and even Target. My big challenge is finding pumps that don't pinch my toes! So here's what I've been wearing the last couple of weeks! These are all work outfits except for #4, which I wore for a casual dinner party last weekend. #8 is the J Crew tweedy suit whose jacket is featured in Angie's ensemble post today. I am really happy with it and expect to get a lot of wear out of these pieces, both together and separately! As you can see, I am still all-in with my work uniform of pencil skirt or ankle pants, blouse, and blazer. And I'm happy for some springier weather around here these days!
