It has a quilted lining which makes it very warm. I have a lovely 2 year old classic single breasted knee length wool coat in purple which I wear all winter. It looks great with my work clothes and cities. But I'm not happy about the look with more casual outfits - it feels too formal, especially if I'm strolling in the woods. </p> <p>I don't know what styles might suit me best. I'm 5'0, apple shape and UK size 18-20. I think I want something that's mid-thigh length, I definitely want something that's not black, and I really don't want to look like a meatball on sticks.</p> <p>I'm contemplating a duffle coat, or perhaps a puffa jacket. But not sure if they're the right styles for me. It doesn't get too cold here maybe down to freezing point, but I do feel the cold easily. Is a duffle coat a really bad idea? I've attached a photo of the one I have in mind. </p>
