Thanks Tracey. I do think I'll start it. I'm already keeping a daily calorie journal (soooo not the same thing, lol), so it should be easy to add on a section for gratitude.

Thanks again for your thoughts!

Thank you Kristin! Writing the gratitude section of my blog really has made a great difference in my life.. I go throughout each day looking for things to add to my list and it has become a habit to look at each day differently... I have always lived a life of appreciation, but somehow writing it actually has heightened my awareness of how many great things are in my life... I think losing my father when I was just 13 had a huge impact on how I see the world... In my late teens amd early twenties , I noticed just how special my father was compared to all my friends, as none of them felt about their father the way I always had about mine... i began saying, that I knew I was blessed to have had him and his legacy no matter how little the time... It was the beginning of my turning something painful into something to appreciate and now I really see how much of a habit it has become... Seeing it in writing and recognizing how often I use that tool when things are tough is a result of doing so on my blog... Some days I think, I don't know if I want to continue blogging, then I always get a comment about my gratitude section and it keeps me going, knowing that it helps others... I highly recommend journaling gratitude!

Love the print on your shirt. And great news about the sales!

Can I just say that I really like the gratitude section on your blog. Since you started that, have you noticed that it makes a difference in your daily life? I was thinking about starting a similar journal.

I took a few days break from blogging and outfit posting as I just needed a breather to deal with the toxic things in my husband's job... Good news is that he has 3 sales for the pay period which is enough for bills and a few more days to add more of which I have no doubt...

My few day break resulted in family meetings that led to a schedule to clear clutter and revamp closets before the two head of to college!!!!

Went bowling again with the homeschool group and have good news that we are hosting a meeting with about another 10 families looking for parental support to homeschool through high school and social activities for teens!
