With the gray pants I like the lower contrast, longer top in #3 best of all (the round hem is also super there). #11 and 12 are slam dunks. #7 and 9 also look good, might need spunkier footwear. I like the idea of #8 but it needs a cami underneath and if that's the case you might want something a little more openweave. It really is comfortable for those active, in-and-out-of-the-house summer days. I also wear a lot of dresses in the summer, but honestly, the capris are more functional. Short sleeves or sleeveless. We do have AC but are judicious about using it. <br />&nbsp;<br />I used to think that capris were more visually "shortening"&nbsp;&nbsp;on me than bermudas but I have changed my mind completely. I decided to try some capris that would fit the same place in my wardrobe as Bermuda shorts.&nbsp;I got them&nbsp;in my usual neutrals of light grey, blue, black, and all in petite sizes.&nbsp;I was hoping I could mostly use tops I already had to keep the budget down. I found a lot of tops that seem to work. The only top in this collection new this year is #3. There is a lot of interchangeability in this capsule which is good! Thinking of duplicating the blue capris.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>#1 and 2 blue/green top, grey capris<br />3 white top, grey capris<br />4 blue/grey top, grey capris<br />5,6,7 same tops, blue capris <br />8 white top, blue capris ( top needs a tank under it)<br />9 black top has lace back, blue capris<br />10 royal blue top, blue capris (this would probably look better wit the grey capris)<br />11 ikat top, blue capris<br />12 black print top, black capris</p> <p>Didn't get to the footwear plan yet but I have sandals that will work. </p> <p>would love to hear your votes on which combos looks best, the pant length in general, and I have a couple of specific questions<br />- Is the blue/green sleeveless top in #1 &amp; 2 too short in the front? It looks that way to me. </p> <p>- The buttons on the hem of the black capris look somehow not too stylish to me...but I can't put my finger on it.
