Period. 1568281@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Okay, so I have to pop in and fess up.  I own the Travel Wrap Company cashmere wrap in charcoal.  It is heaven!  It is knitted, though, not woven, if that is important to you.  So it is a gorgeous, wonderful, warm, luxurious, very fine gauge (but not thin or sheer), drapey wrap.  It feels like a heavenly, sweatery hug.  It isn't as formal as some woven wraps are.  I bought mine because I was fed up with being cold in my office.  Since I was wearing a woven inexpensive wool faux-pashmina every day, I decided it was probably worthwhile to buy the Travel Wrap for myself.  I haven't regretted it for a second.  If you want, I can ask a friend to take a pic in sunlight so you can see how it looks.      abc on "Cashmere wrap" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/cashmere-wrap#post-1567902 Tue, 06 Oct 2015 00:23:16 +0000 abc 1567902@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Deleted. I am going to dig through and see what I have that may be suitable with the dress for the event.  I secretly hope nothing bc I love to shop and the thrill of the hunt is hard to resist, but we'll see what I have.  I will probably post a thread about it soon. Diana on "Cashmere wrap" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/cashmere-wrap#post-1567789 Mon, 05 Oct 2015 19:40:45 +0000 Diana 1567789@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Honestly I think silk/cashmere (basically, a "real" pashmina as opposed to the acrylic ones) looks dressier and wears better (less likely to pill).  IMO 100% cashmere looks more casual because it's so soft and doesn't have the sheen of silk.   For the same reasons I'd choose woven over knit.  100% cashmere would be warmer though... So I began thinking a cashmere wrap would be nice.  I travel by plan some and do usually find airplanes quite chilly.   And of course now that my tastes have elevated only cashmere will do ;) I swear I read somehwere recently (was it YLF? can't remember) about travel wraps and cashmere wraps but can't find the thread (if it was even here that I read it). Anyway - can anyone recommend a nice cashmere wrap suitable for covering a long gown worn as a special wedding guest (part of ceremony) AND for use thereafter? Dress is ink blue, and I was thinking a black/charcoal combo may be nice?
