They seem to take so long to dry. A Ripskirt is a brilliant idea too, as comfy as shorts, but works as a skirt at dinner and in churches and so on. It’s totally a fashion show, at least it was for me. Your packing choices are fab and spot on. Not too much or too little. I don’t think you are forgetting anything, either. I took a pair of black pants, a pair of white jeans, and a casual dress to mix and match with various tops for our dinners. I did pack a sweater and a rain poncho, but never needed them. I also packed shorts, but the skirt and RipSkirt are even better! &nbsp;I actually managed to get everything in a carry on, including a pair of sneakers and low heels for evenings.&nbsp;<div><br /></div><div>Oh, I almost forgot. I took a very small clutch for the 2 dressy nights (for my phone and room key), a functional crossbody to carry on excursions &nbsp;and when walking around the ship. You might want some bug spray, depending on your excursions. I have a very compromised immune system, so we also packed and wore masks and then tested positive for COVID when we got home. I've never been in a cruise--but think this should be a fun thing! You have a great curated cruise capsule here, esp love the colorway!!! On two of the excursions I’ll be in swimwear. While on the ship, laying by the pool is not my thing, I’ll be bopping around getting involved in all sorts of activities. </p> <p>Here We Go:<br /> 1 &amp; 2: Dresses for dinner (#2 is for formal night). I still need to fix the fabric belt on the J Crew Postcard Dress (#1) so I can tie it tighter without it slipping.<br /> #3: Travel day. We have a three hour drive to Bayonne NJ to board the ship. #4-#6: One is a skort, the other is a RipSkirt. These are taking the place of shorts, and I can wear them to dinner.<br /> #7: I really don’t need to bring this, but I just don’t want to leave it behind! I’ll most likely wear it after a beach excursion, and I can wear it to dinner. I stitched up the V neckline a little to make it fit better. Interesting how it’s much shorter on the model in the stock photo than on me, and I’m almost 5’8”.<br /> #8: These old linen J Crew capris are one of my favorite pants ever. Our first stop is Port Canaveral, and hubs and I are touring the Daytona racetrack. We’ll be wearing our tees from our recent road trip to the Indy 500.<br /> #9: Travel home and spare outfit.<br /> #10: Sleep/Midnight Pizza: I never wear actual PJs when traveling, I wear something I can leave the room in.<br /> #11: Swimwear: Tankini and skirted bottoms, white rash guard hoodie. I’m not nuts about the one on the right, but it fits and it goes with the hat, so it’s going.<br /> #12: Sneakers, dressy/casual sandals, water shoes<br /> #13: Jewelry<br /> #14: Spare outfit. Maybe I should nix the patterned top and bring a solid one that will go with anything?</p> <p>Not Pictured: I’m bringing a cardigan, probably white (J Crew) and a white denim jacket (Gap).</p> <p>HAHA: My SIL, who means well but can be blunt, when discussing packing said, “Remember, it’s not a fashion show.” WAIT, WHAT??
