It is still not extremely dry but leans more toward normal and I still can get shiny. I find that no more pores powder by It Cosmetics is good at toning down shine without mattifying. I have recently tried Lisa Eldridge's new foundation, and, on me, it is fantastic - something between glow and matte. I had done this myself at home using those popular Tinkle facial razors, and wasn't sure how much different the salon version would be. Well, it was VERY different. My skin feels so much smoother and the dullness seems improved. Have you tried stopping the powder for a while, to see if your face then slows down? I’m thinking of how hair adjusts to the washing routine you give it, getting oily faster when it’s washed more often. My skin tends to dry out in the winter so I moisturize and sometimes use MAC primer under foundation for a less matte look (I wouldn't call it dewy by a long shot.)
