Yes, cardigans are primarily loungewear essentials for me. For a while, loungewear was the only area of my wardrobe I could be inspired to work on. Long cardigans, drapey tops, and plush leggings were a solid start!

Sharing your love of cardigans as comfy "work-from-home" pieces. I have two of the Barefoot Dreams cardis and, yes, the sleeves run narrow. I usually wear them over tanks. Haven't tried their Circle Cardigan -- looks incredibly cozy.

Timely post by Angie today on loungewear. More possibilities there. Agree about those tight sleeves on the Barefoot Dreams Drape Front Cardi in Ombre--I have t shirts that work under it, short and long sleeve. The Circle Cardi is more forgiving in the arms for sure and very cozy for loungewear at home.

These are gorgeous. I love the look of a long cardigan over leggings on other people. I can not carry that look off. I stick to short cardigans. I have narrow shoulders.

I have the BD ombré. I love its coziness, but I do find the narrow arms annoying. I have to remember to think of it for earlier in the season, with T shirts, because it doesn't layer as well over long sleeves unless they're very thin.

Today Angie posted on cardigans and pullovers. Cardigans, for me, are comfort zones for home wear. I am a writer who always keeps a cardi on the computer chair as my body temperature fluctuates and I can pull it on or off.

I also wear cardigans with a light top underneath as loungewear with comfy leggings at home. The two Barefoot Dreams cardigans fit that bill. Both soft, long and comfortable. The arms on the Barefoot Dreams cardigans can run small but I got used to it as sizing up meant way too big in the body for me. I have not worn either of these cardigans out but I'm pretty sure I could. I associate them with at home wear.

If I can find a cardigan that is long and fitted, I'll wear it out with jeans and boots. Like the Leith waterfall cardigan in olive that is no longer available. I love this cardi!
