notsaf, french terry is a fair descriptor, in that the inside is loopy and cosy. The outside is more textured than a typical smooth french terry public face. It wasn't expensive, and I am fine with it only lasting one season (although that will put me right back to shopping to fill a gap). I did look at the other colors, but the navy is too bright for me, and the light gray would be soul-sucking with my complexion. True black would be wonderful.

Agreed with others here that this is a great kind of a piece when you kind one that is cut well for you!

Is it a kind of terry, rather than double-faced knit?

If they release it I a true black, I would consider trying it to replace one that I’ve had to retire recently (old, the gap).

That looks like a very versatile topper. I used to have a black knit blazer that I wore until it wore out. I wonder why I didn’t replace it. Thanks for the find.

Great find!!! Thanks for sharing. I have a knit blazer that I’ve worn the heck out of and am not looking forward to the day when I need to retire it.

Yep I have 2 soft knit jackets which feel like cardigans but look a bit smarter. Good choice!
You are definitely learning by thrifting two, as well!

I like the style, the colour, and the length. It will prove a very useful find for the season. Three-quarter length jackets are very smart, I think, a lift up from the ubiquitous cardigan.

Thank you for pointing this blazer out. I have a couple of wool knit blazers, but this cotton one would be handy for this time of year when it feels like crisp fall in the morning and evening but often summer at mid day.

I've struggled to find cardigans as well this past couple of years, in fact I'm wearing one right now I just bought that I thought would be a keeper and after wearing a few days I think I should donate, I feel very frumpy in it. Nice find! That looks like it could be very versatile - I'm tempted to try one myself :)

I've been on the search for a charcoal gray cardigan for multiple seasons. This is complicated, apparently. I don't like drop shoulder sweaters as they make me look wide and squat, my arms are short, as a petite person, patch pockets on a cardigan can be a problem, etc. I have bought and then donated at least three (at least the last two were thrifted, which at least shows I'm learning, right)?

On a whim, I decided to try this jacket, and I think it going to fill that need nicely, or even, more satisfactorily than a cardigan would have. The jacket is perhaps technically black and white, but it reads charcoal with a bit of a light fleck. The shoulders fit my shoulders, the lapels in the petite are proportional, and it is very comfortable. The reviews complain about the sizing and recommend sizing down, but in petite, I found it to be true to size and the small petite (my usual size) was good.
