I did t need the jacket - I only wore it on the plane over and was too cold. Switched to the white sweater on the way back. The jeans were only worn for travel br might have come or if it had been cooler—the weather is hard to predict. </p> <p>I also could have ditched the short sleeved Hawaiian top, except that I bought it for this trip that we do every year. The only bottom is the printed pants, and they will go with most of the tops (purple, olive, white tee and a blue tank top that’s not shown). Since those are for evening mostly, I don’t mind them being slightly less versatile. Otherwise my bottoms are two solid shorts, solid pants and one pair of jeans and so those will go with almost all the tops. Anyway this is a family trip and I won’t be out and about much, so I only need to impress myself. :)</p> <p>Joy - ha! I have to do some light exercise as part of my physical therapy, so it will be good for that purpose too (will also bring leggings and a sports bra). Since you are going on a longer trip, maybe you could find a couple of quick dry tanks or camis that you can wash in the sink, so you can rotate? It's an annual tradition. We dress up a little for dinner each night, but otherwise it's super casual. I have a back injury so I can't do much sporty stuff this year, but I can swim and do very light hiking (not the kind that needs boots).</div><div><br /> </div><div>I have too many tops in this capsule.  I'll probably decide among them as I pack. I will add a plain colored tank top that I can also sleep in or layer under things (also not pictured: workout gear and Le Sportsac crossbody).<br /> </div><div><br /> </div><div>The button down linen shirt doubles as a coverup. So does the cream paisley dress, which I also plan to use as my nightgown.</div><div><br /> </div><div>I plan to bring the classic Tevas and probably leave them in the house as water shoes. I don't wear them at all outside of visiting Michigan.
