Thanks, MuseumGal and pil. The leopard skirt was a summer find at the same boutique where I found my Tracy Reese skirt; maybe 99% of the items there don't quite work for me, but I've learned to keep going back as the items that do work are turning out to be "high impact".

Suz, thanks for comments. Spoiler--I've brought home a couple more pencil skirts to try--allowing myself more variety there even though I can't wear that type of outfit every day. And I agree, Angie's debombshell formula, especially since I need to wear flats or nearly flats for footwear and don't want to look or feel fussy, has become a real FFBO and helps me get more use from my skirts. #6 is an example of how I'm finding that for tucking into trousers, I often prefer the look of slightly drapey thin knit T or sweater rather than the look of the tucked button-front collared shirt. Not at all sure why this is, but think it has something to do with getting more volume on top or a horizontal effect or something on long torso. It is a very strong sugar-poison eye thing. It might fit into "what you do that may not be typical style" . So thin linen or merino knits work well for that.

Cocolion and Kellygirl, thank you. I have a sugar eye for safari jackets--the EB is ? 5 years old and survived purges because I haven't found anything to replace, though I'd like a more polished fabric. Runcarla, I hadn't used the drawstrings in the past, but then the jacket seemed kind of big and boxy, so it's getting new life with the waist shirring.

rachylou and BethAnn, thanks for chiming in! Yes, I did find it helped me grab &go once I tried some combos.

caro, hi! Funny thing is, I really like camel/caramel--especially in jackets-- even though those are warm colors. One goal is to keep combining with teal and burgundy and with gray--somehow the warm/cool evens out if the brighter colors are included up top, and I like those combo better than just grays and blacks with jewel tones.

Thanks all for comments and feedback!

I know how much work these involve so this is impressive :)
#18 is my favourite too, the pattern & richness is simply fabulous. #4 & #12 are my next picks.

Cohesive capsule in subdued, but interesting colours. #18 stands out as particularly fab, and the safari style jacket looks great on you, and adds some interesting detail to the outfit combos in which it is featured. The high stance of the collar and the way it is shirred or gathered and nips in at the waist is very flattering.

Excellent capsule work, UF! 18-21 are my favorites. Did the capsule help you feel fab with less effort? Did you enjoy wearing the capsule, even with the additions?

Wow, these are fab. I LOVE the leopard skirt with sweater in 18. That's one of my faves on you ever. I also really adore the safari jacket looks. The jacket really suits you. These are all very polished and look great! Fab capsule!

Good work on the capsule! 18 is my favorite. Wow, that skirt and the purple tops -- just stunning. I also think 2, 9, 15, 16, 20, 21 and 22 work really well.

#18!! Gorgeous! And so much fun.

I really like you in pencil skirts. I like the way some of your knits dress them down a bit or de-bombshell. And I like the way they look on you, full stop.

Really liking #6, too.

Great job with this capsule. I sympathize about everything sort of running together and getting mixed up. Same thing happened to me.

You've been busy! It's hard to pick a favorite. I love the proportions of the sweater with skirt in 9, gray on gray(?) in 12 and the leopard skirt combination in 18. And basically everything with a jacket! Great job!

Here is a form of capsule-outfits I have been wearing in early fall, though it kind of got loose around the edges and roped in some random items. Also, I lost track of where I was in the photos, such as lost the AT cardi with the other bottoms, but I think there are enough to give the idea!

This is a capsule with no black pants at (though the pindot are brown-black) and runs "warmer" colored, mixed with cooler, since that makes me feel fall-ish.

The toppers here mostly get me to and fro, rather than during work, but am showing ones I use, with different proportions. So I try to wear some interesting belts for the outfits themselves.

Tops: Pendleton teal silk short-sleeved blouse, Loft print linen sweater, AT taupe silk shirt, rust cotton sweater (RL print shirt layered) , AT burgundy cardigan

Bottoms: AT stripe taupey bootcut trouser, AT skirt, Zanella pindot wool trouser, animal print skirt

Toppers: Oliv. Moon ruched sleeve jacket, Tahari blazer, BR safari jacket, EB safari jacket, Chaps knit/faux leather cardi

Footwear: ballet flats, oxfords, shooties

Belts: AT reptile, AT tan, burg/black zebra faux? haircalf (closeup for fun),
