I’m sure Angie will get you sorted on this .
I have looked at these at high end and low end and I really can’t see spending a ton (for me) because they can be quite pricey .
I would check places like TJMaxx and Marshall’s and compare prices with places like Macy’s and Nordies .

I’ve been curious about this company’s travel wraps and travel sweaters, which they say can be folded down into compact little pouches (included with purchase). I wonder if they’d meet your needs. https://www.mersea.com/search?q=Reversible+wrap

YES, Laura. My new cape became an instant and unexpected workhorse. These from AT are gorgeous:

Twice a week I have to walk across a college campus (have to park on one end, my classes are on the other) and as it gets cooler it occurs to me that having a cape as a medium weight coat would be useful. I’m thinking of something with minimal closures, that wouldn’t take up a ton of space when not on (maybe fit in my bag), and preferably have pockets so I wouldn’t have to worry about gloves. Something that would go over my backpack would be nice. Any thoughts on brands or sources to start looking at?
