I tried the photo you sent, but it seems that the incorrect rotation is built into that file before YLF even uploads it. The other thing is that none of our YLF code generates that particular error message.</p> <p>I did a quick search for that error message on Google and it does seem to be quite a common problem on Android phones. There is a little piece of info inside the photo that specified the rotation, and I honor this when uploading the file. I think what might be happening is that piece of info is stripped from the file when you send it via email. Can you email me one of those pictures directly from your phone? I get the message:"Failed to open selected file"</p> <p>As a side issue, when I go the long way to post a pic - ie email to myself, edit it (which always involves having to rotate it) and then upload it, it always appears sideways despite the rotation.
