I've noticed that the conversion between American and European sizing is sometimes off. The owner was puzzled; no one else has had them not fit. She suggested that the photo (same one I include here) wasn't the best indicator. But I can tell you that when I stand up, the toes still peek out the same amount. </p> <p>Would you wear these as is? I am not thinking it's going to be a comfort issue. (I hope.) but would you eschew wearing them simply because of how they look?</p> <p>And if so, what would you all do? They're not a well-known brand, so I don't think consigning them is worth it. They're not that special. I could also give them to my local AIDS action nonprofit, which runs a boutique. </p> <p>Sad to say, because I want to support small businesses, but I feel like only ordering from zappos or Nordstrom now. </p>
