				<description>&#060;p&#062;My initial order still shows &#034;Getting Ready&#034;, even though I canceled it with customer service yesterday morning. I ordered the items online and went to pick up this morning. Like kkards observed, there were hundreds of bags waiting to be picked up in store, but in my store there were hardly ANY people shopping. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I tried on my dressy sandals (in several sizes) and ended up returning them right then. They are beautiful in person, but just not the right shape or something. I usually wear 7; I ordered an 8 and 8.5 - both were too small and my toes hung over the edge. I walked over to the shoe dept to try a 9 (different color), and my foot looked fat on the dainty little shoe. Oh well, our summers are really too short to be wearing them anyway.... My motto lately is if I don't LOVE something when I first put it on, I'm not buying it. Next!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I ordered the moto boots during the first day of early access (July 11th). I initially had two sizes in my cart, then removed one of them (sticker shock at cart total!), and now I’m kicking myself.  I LOVE the boots, but they run somewhat larger than the other Paul Green shoes and boots I have.  I have always worn a size UK4 in Paul Green (US 6.5), but these are larger. My heel slips when I wear them with “normal” socks, but they are perfect with wool socks.  I’m asking myself if I really want to be able to only wear them with thick socks..  &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Anyway, I have also been stalking the boots to see if I can find a size 3.5 for comparison.  I HAVE seen the the boots come back in stock (but not in the size I want).  It’s always when I first check in the morning (6-6:30 AM ET) and within 10-15 minutes they are gone.  I check perodically though the day as well, but have never see them come back in stock after the early AM.  &#060;/p&#062;

I ordered another online as a pop-back and it's still &#034;getting ready.&#034; This morning, my SA texted today to say she had located one herself, so I called customer service to try to cancel the online purchase. The rep said it was coming from a store and it would be best to call them directly.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;All this is a long-winded way of saying that I agree that they must be sourcing many of these &#034;getting ready&#034; items from individual stores. If I had my heart set on something that was in my local store, I'd just go ahead and buy it and cancel (or return) the online one -- but it might take going that extra step and asking the rep where it's coming from.&#038;nbsp;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;This happened to me last year. Items sat in &#034;getting ready&#034; for several days, then were canceled. I took it to mean they were sourcing from other stores vs a central warehouse. It would also explain the delay if the store sold their last piece, and the system is now sourcing from other stores or waiting on returns.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;It's part of the joy of ordering online when there's a huge sale. I also saw a note on another blog that many more people were taking advantage of the opportunity to buy online and pick up in person, which was causing confusion about inventory.

Men's pants that probably go on sale every NAS? But no cancellations thus far. . .Thus stuff I ordered quite recently that arrived within a couple of days came from stores and not their warehouse.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Reorder it. I had that happen (not during NAS).  I was unhappy and called. They said that their system routes it a direction due to stock when ordered. So, for example, if might have been routed to a store. Then that store doesn’t cover the order and it gets cancelled. In the meantime, the warehouse gets some in but your order doesn’t recognize that. Basically a system flaw. I reordered and all was good.
