From where you are you'll easily be able to walk to Rockefeller Center shopping and all the shopping on 5th and Madison Aves. It will be very busy I'm sure! I've never done Black Friday in NYC, but I usually go in early December (peak shopping time) and it's crowded but festive.</p> <p>I like to shop Soho. You can take a cab down to the Flatiron Building (which is around 21st Street, I think) and walk south toward Soho and then on to Union Square. There is also a great holiday bazaar in Union Square at this time of year. I would definitely check that out.
