After that, it was bootcuts for 25 years. I ordered two pairs to see which I liked better, and ended up keeping them both.  The smaller are better for casual days at work, and the bigger for sheer comfort, esp on a warmer day.  I'd prefer not to have that happen to me with these ones though - they are pretty expensive for us Canucks (that don't have access to a US post box). The Nikkis ease up a little more in the thighs and butt with wear, and I'm really glad I didn't size up. Straight out of the box the waist band was 31" and the thigh just below the crotch was almost 22".
