I actually want fleece leggings I could wear on their own (with the option of wearing them as base layers). Of course. If you need something warm and not tight for under more fitted pants ,try the silk pants from Lands End or LLBean. I those I wear a small. They're great under pants, as long as the pants are not tight fitting. I've been freezing my tail off in an unheated office, so I had to do something.
