Nothing ‘wrong’ with me, it’s just how my complexion interacts with colour.<br /> Oh, and last bit of info I learnt recently- if you are ‘neutral’ ie not “true” spring/autumn/winter/summer, it’s quite normal to have a mix of cool and warm in your colouring. So my skin tone is neutral, my hair skews warm, my lips skew cool, and I have a cooler blue-grey iris in one eye, and a warmer grey-green in the other eye. This has been a game changer, when I realised I needed lipsticks that skew cooler within my colours, if I want them to just blend with my colouring. There are lots of systems, they often don’t agree, but it seems to me you do well with mid tones, that are slightly warm and have an earthy warmth, not a clear warmth (spring).<br /> To me the cool colours (1.6,1.7,1.8) bring out mauve shadows, particularly above your lip, and also give you a shiny forehead.<br /> The warmer colours (1.2, 1.3) don’t give you the mauve shadows. However, when too strong (like the strong ochre-mustard) they push you out of the picture, the colour is getting all the focus!<br /> The light colours are not terrible, but if they are too light, it seems like the effect is a bit bland.
