It's funny how a colour that's so intuitive and natural for some can be a puzzle for others. </p> <p>I actually love the vintage 80s sportswear/windbreaker looks, with teal, fuchsia, purple and gold all thrown together. Those jewel-tone colorblocks are one of my secret favourite things, so I'm glad they're having a moment again. ;)</p> <p>This colour currently has a presence in my gear closet, as it does for <b>Janet,</b> but not so much in my "street clothes". I wonder if this is just because there's a lag between fashion designers and gear designers, so my several year old gear reflects the colours that were trendy several years before that. This does seem to be changing; with the rise of athleisure, gear brands are sometimes driving rather than following the trends...</p> <p><b>Suz</b>, #3 is an Amour Vert silk shell, and #4 is Everlane's silk square shirt. (Sorry no Finds; I'm mostly posting from my phone these days.) That colour is *so* yummy, and perfect for something luxe like silk. And I love the way that really saturated shade contrasts with the faded black denim.</p> <p><b>The Cat&nbsp;</b>-- Isn't the floral dress amazing?! My mother is a true Winter and wears magenta, fuchsia, and berry colors excellently. For me, the blue in these shades makes them a bit too cool AND intense for me. I do excellently in virtually all other red and pink, though, from burgundy, maroon, and cranberry colors, to ruby and strawberry reds and lipstick pinks, and warmer pinks like watermelon, rose, and carnation.
