And also indoors vs. outdoors. Indoors--say to a movie or restaurant--is air-conditioned &amp; chilly. Since moving to a climate with less temperature extremes, I think I could get away with boots almost year round. Or at least I am telling myself that to rationalize a couple of pairs of boots I have my eyes on. haha</p> <p>To answer your question, especially in SF where the mornings and evenings can be cool (just like here) I would say yes!
