Wearing their jeans. I mentioned to the sales clerk that they'd shunk up so much in the length after washing them only once (cold water, hung to dry), and she turned around and put me in a brand new pair on the spot. I was pretty impressed. She said, "They shouldn't do that..." and exchanged them right then and there. I'll have to drive to the store where I bought the sweater and see what happens there. The sweater is from the Loft, and they specifically accept returns of "unwashed, unworn" items but I always feel like clothes should be returnable if you only wash them once and they don't "behave". There was one time when I returned a pair of pants because of a hole that developed after washing, and the sales person gave me really hard time. She literally pointed her finger at me and loudly complained to the other sales assistants: "She is returning WORN pants!!!" But they ended up taking the pants back. I liked it in store but now it does not seem to fit the same way (although I don't think it shrank).
