They feel modest, classic, practical and modern all at the same time. Interestingly, my eye has adjusted to clamdiggers. Last year, I thought clams looked too tight at the knee, but I just tried on some bermudas that were too wide at the knee and made me feel boxy from the hips down. So now I'm eying my jeans and trying to decide which might work for clams this summer.
