Not because of lug soles, but what Elle said. For your stated lifestyle, these are a one-season shoe. Especially if exposed to weather. Unless you can extend it by alternating them with a different boot. </p> <p>Mind if I ask, what is your budget? If it is stitched on it can be replaced. If it is glued on I'm not so sure. I tend to find re-solable shoes are more expensive, which you get back by not having to replace them as often. If I can find cheaper shoes that are attractive &amp; comfortable, not easy but possible, then these days I am buying them.
