Whenever someone tries to help me I feel SO stupid and I can always sense their exasperation. It never helps when they start out by saying, "Oh, it's super easy. Even a simpleton could do it." Uh, gee. Thanks. I'll go crawl in a hole and die now.&nbsp;</p> <p>It took me forever to figure out how to get the pictures from my camera to my computer, and then it's like the computer&nbsp;<i>ate</i> them. Where they went, I'll never know! I tried to remember the steps, but it seemed like there were different ways of getting to my pictures and they same way didn't work every time. And all I had to chose from in the menu was some blah, blah, blah computer-speak, even if I had named the file! ARGH! I feel your pain. I finally learned how to find and post&nbsp;them, but it took some serious perseverance.&nbsp;</p> <p>If you're anything like me, you might learn better if you figure it out by trial and error, all by yourself. It also seems to be easier to remember if I learn that way than if someone smart "shows" me how to do it (at lightening speed and my poor brain is about two steps behind them). Google can be a big help, and it's nice not to have someone impatient breathing down your neck. I never did well under that kind of pressure.&nbsp;</p> <p>Once you figure it out (and I think you will!), try post pictures every single day so it gets into your long term memory. It took me forever to figure it out. My hangup was getting the photos onto the computer from the camera. Everyone learns differently. For me, I had to write down the steps - I know that may seem silly but it works for me. I think, in general, it's probably easier to get the proportions right when worn open (as seen in the examples in Angie's <a rel="nofollow" href="http://youlookfab.com/2013/05/20/modernize-the-arty-kimono-jacket/">blog post on kimono jackets</a>), but I suspect it may&nbsp;also depend on the length of the kimono and what you would like to wear underneath.</p> <p>On posting photos: if the photo is in a folder on your computer, BM, all you need to do is click on the "Add a photo" icon right below&nbsp;the window you are typing in when you comment on this thread. You can then select the folder in which the photo is saved on your computer, and the picture will be automatically uploaded to YLF.
