The fit and flare dress (I call this the 50s dress) is the right shape and will look good as long as the material below is not shiny. Also do you generally look good in lace, because it can be ageing for some?</p> <p>As for the neckline, how much cleavage are you comfortable with? I don't like cleavage so I always wear camisoles with deep Vs or wrap dresses. Personally my favorite neckline is a wide scoop neck (think a wide U) ending just above the cleavage. Draped necklines are also flattering.</p> <p>You can also rock a sheath (tailored look) and shift dress (straight column), just make sure they are not tight around the lower belly.
