I think it is all in how you style them. I, too,&nbsp;have a bootcut pair of ponte pants. I like to wear them with a drapey knit top and a more structured blazer. I bought them on a clearance sale rack where everything was jumbled together, so I'm not sure what department they came from. There are no clues on the label. </p> <p>They are very plain mid-grey heavy weight jersey, with a nice drape, they are long enough to wear with a low heel, and they fit pretty well.&nbsp; The boot cut style is perhaps a bit dated but I'm not too worried about that right now.</p> <p>I threw them on here with a long-ish top, which is probably how I would wear them in a hypothetical office situation (plus accessories and a topper).&nbsp; They are rather frumpy in this incarnation but I'm trying to shop my closet to put together a "survival" work capsule in case I happen to get a job in the near future.</p> <p>What do you think? Am I delusional?</p>
