Unless an item is particularly bulky, I always squeeze out the rinse water gently (no wringing) and then roll the item flat in a towel to squeeze out the extra moisture. It came out perfect. I think the weave of the wool is important. Wool comes out better when you wash<br /> instead of dry clean. What shrinks it is not so much agitation (rubbing) but a switch in<br /> water temperature. I didn't realize it was wool. It seemed like a nice, black polyester so I didn't feel the dry clean tag would matter. I double checked the label one last time before I was about to cut the tags and stick it in the washer. </p> <p>Can this be washed in a cold extra delicate cycle or should I just return? : ( </p>
