Some items labeled chartreuse tend more toward citron, while some lean more toward a split pea color. I can wear hot pink and royal blue, too, and I prefer a more yellowy chartreuse. I would suspect that if you can wear yellow, chartreuse would also look good on you. I can't post my picture yet, but I am not fair-fair skinned, but fair (I'm Danish), but I do tan in the summer.
