Layers are a hard style to keep up with and I think that if you got a bad 'do, the best thing to do is let it grow out and keep returning to the hair salon every couple of weeks to have your hairdresser fix it out. I'm in the process of growing out a bad bob too. The stylist cut the layers way to short in the back. Because you have the wedding fast approaching, I would not bother to go back to the salon where you received the cut in the first place. Contact the one stylist whom you trust the most right now and beg him/her to "fix" this for you. A good stylist (like Taylor) will see the problem and be able to correct it as much as possible. This sounds more like she gave you a bad hair cut than that there was a misunderstanding about what you wanted. If someone gave me a bad haircut, I wouldn't let them touch my hair again. Growing out bad layers is no fun. Would it be possible to have your hair professionally styled for the wedding rather than getting a full-on cut again? In my experience letting it grow a little and then going to someone competent is faster in the long run to getting the hair you want, although the in-between time is hard. I am sure Taylor is right that someone good could improve the current situation, if you really feel confident in this other person. I am suspecting not, because otherwise you would have gone to her in the first place, right? When I was traveling a lot and having different people cut my hair it took a bad turn. I found someone good to sort it out, but she told me it would take at least three hair cuts before she had my hair back in shape.
