As noted by FW, you have to be careful that you can still get your arms into it afterward. In my case, the dress was also a wrap sort of thing so she also added a couple of stiches to keep the wrap from opening up and exposing lots of cleavage! But they don't come in petite, and I've just realized (!) that a huge factor in my too-much-cleavage issue is just that the clothes are not made for my frame, which has a shorter shoulder-to-exposure length, if that makes sense. Can a tailor take up the shoulder seam to shorten the length of the "strap" easily? Has anyone done it? </p> <p>It almost looks like something I could do, as I do sew, but I'm nervous abour ruining a real silk item. I do have a good tailor, at least... </p>
