Yes -- I've had this done. As noted by FW, you have to be careful that you can still get your arms into it afterward. And sometimes the shoulder can be shortened to the point that the part that goes under your arm is cutting into you -- yet the neckline is still too low.

Let us know how it goes!

Shana, what a great idea with a wrap dress! I never wear them for the same cleavage reasons - this could be my cure!

Its super simple. Just be careful that you still have room UNDER your arm!

I just had a tailor do this on a sleeveless dress - will post photos when I get a chance. In my case, the dress was also a wrap sort of thing so she also added a couple of stiches to keep the wrap from opening up and exposing lots of cleavage! Worked like a charm and she charged me $15.

That should be a pretty simple fix on something like that.

I bit the bullet and bought a couple of shells at Nordstrom, similar to this one (the actual ones are not on the website):

http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/31.....tback=3634

They are fun and I got two colors that will mix in with a lot of my wardrobe. But they don't come in petite, and I've just realized (!) that a huge factor in my too-much-cleavage issue is just that the clothes are not made for my frame, which has a shorter shoulder-to-exposure length, if that makes sense. Can a tailor take up the shoulder seam to shorten the length of the "strap" easily? Has anyone done it?

It almost looks like something I could do, as I do sew, but I'm nervous abour ruining a real silk item. I do have a good tailor, at least...
