That's so great MsKatieKat! Hope they work out - glad to help! Pretty sure they are final sale at that price? My neutral Camper Right sandals were final sale as well, but since I already had a black pair I knew they'd be good. Shoeme has super fast shipping so you should have them in no time.

(I ordered a replacement pair of Cons this AM too when I went to the Shoemeoutlet.ca)

Look forward to seeing pics!

Yes, that was me! I only have ONE pair though, see pic 1.

I've been checking the site hoping they'd come back with the same style, because I'd duplicate them in a heartbeat. I find the ones I have are super comfy, despite how high the heel is, I can walk all day in them. The secret is the material the heel is made out of, I think. It absorbs shocks. Also the upper material is soft against the feet and doesn't rub anywhere. I've lived in these shoes for about 4 years straight (spring/summer months). Barely any wear shown on the heels, but I have had to have the uppers cleaned occasionally -- which you have to do with any nude shoe (my cobbler always frowns at me for buying nude shoes.)

Compare to pic 2: I just added these VC's this year. I wore them out yesterday and they aren't anywhere near as comfy as the campers. My feet sweat in the VC's and then they started to rub. Also the heel has no give to it -- like walking on a block of wood.

The Camper brand is supposedly designed for urban dwellers who walk everywhere all day long.

I've given up on Campers because they run a little flat in the toe box, which shortens them a bit and presses on my toesies. But that's my feet.

Thank you for your responses, ladies!

Some of you say that you didn't experience ball of foot pain: that's a huge plus in my books as this is my biggest problem with shoes! Just like Diana, I don't have that fat pad on the balls of my feet! The side pinching is an issue too, and it looks like these shoes don't do that. The Campers looked pretty narrow at first but the ones I tried on yesterday had softer leathers - perhaps there's hope!

Jackiec: THANK YOU for letting us know about Shoeme's sale! I often check there and I must've missed it! I've shopped with them before and had a positive experience!

I love Camper. In Kellygirls thread about comfy summer shoes I posted about my sandals, the camper right. I love these. I have another pair of higher, chunkier sandals which I don't wear too often, not bc of discomfort but bc I should have bought black and not brown. I just got an email from Shoeme.ca that the Camper Agatha black boot is on clearance for $69 (Cdn) which is a great deal for Campers. I haven't tried the shoes you've listed, but they look nice. In any case, I'm a huge fan. Great European quality too.

I have two pair and they're super comfy. I bought one in desperation on vacation after discovering the shoes I intended to walk around in all day weren't 12hr shoes for me. Mine are both flats but I think the quality and craftsmanship is very good. To me worth the price. Good luck.

I had 2 pairs of sandals - one quite similar to the second pair you posted (red sandals), and the other was higher. I sold both a couple of years ago bc of the weight. Neither have me ball of foot pain (which is a problem for me too as I have basically no fat pads on my feet). The styles I had were open enough to avoid the bunion so I don't know how the closed styles would fare. I recall the Twins sandals having good padding and my feet did not slide around.

Thanks Diana!

I'm actually used to heavy shoes, so I think I'll be ok. My main concern is the ball of foot and side of the foot (bunions). For some reason, some low heeled shoes or flats still cause ball of foot pain!

What kind of styles do you have? Is the heel/wedge under 2 inches?

I've worn them in the past but found the pairs I had to be rather heavy (weight not look) but that could be specific to the styles I had. Otherwise comfy though.
Eta: I think the ones I had had solid rubber soles (one piece with the heel) which contributed to the weight. For the record I find my docs really heavy too so if you're ok with docs you'll be fine. The camper sandals were not as heavy as docs!

There have been a couple posts on problem feet and shoes lately, so I thought I'd add in another thread - this time, specific to a particular brand. One Fabber once recommended that I try Camper shoes. I finally got around it today and tried on a pair of boots with 1.8 inch heel - very similar to the heel on the first 3 links I'm showing. They were comfortable and the soft leather did not aggravate my bunions. Despite the fit, I did not walk away with new boots, mainly because I was apprehensive. I spent at least $150 consecutively in the last two months on black low-heeled boots that turned out to be painful. My Yokonos, for instance hurt at the ball of the foot despite the Insole and 1.5 inch heel, and the Miz Mooz have me shin splints even though the heel is only 2 inches tall and the toe box is quite wide (did not look great with flares. Also, no ball of foot pain at all!).

Has anyone (especially those with foot issues) worn Camper Shoes in the past? Did they aggravate any foot problems? Are they durable and comfortable?

Here are the styles I'm particularly drawn to. I've tried on the first one and it fit well.
