I almost passed them up, but they are so. darn. lightweight. that I knew they'd be a great alternative to short shorts for summer. And I needed an alternative since&nbsp;I've been much less enamored with short shorts this year.&nbsp;</p> <p>I wish the clams were a wee bit more tapered, but with heels I don't mind the width at all. Aimed to balance the GI Joe element with a feminine silk shirt, wedges, and shiny arm candy.
